The company had operated under the name of “The Productive Industrial Factory” since April 1971; in result of the expansion of our corporation the name changed to Al-Mahara, establishing in 1984.

Al-Mahara is specialized in metal industries, manufacturing various types of molds for all metal industry purposes, rollers, shearing machines for sheet metals, bending and forming presses with different capacities, many types of mechanical knives, tools and manual instruments, car spare parts and modifying different molds and machines. In addition we also have heat treatment department that embraces fine electrical furnaces.
To satisfy and meet the production means of the local market, we encompassed a variety of different machines.

The company has spaces and sites of action open to the requirement of the projects that are taking place in the country. It also has a team of engineer and technicians and members of various mechanical specialists Macs.

In progress of the company's enlargement, the amount of work and number of workers increased to achieve and fulfill the necessities of the demanding markets in the region. Consequently, our budget emended and turned to 70,000.00 ID, which is equal to 232,000.00 US dollars. And now the company's capital rose to 210,000.00 ID (697,000.00 US dollars).

After 2004, our company specialized in providing technical support for power projects of power generating stations, petroleum projects and refineries by performing mechanical works of these projects as but not limited to small/medium tanks, various metal towers, operate and inspect power transition lines and monitoring their operation as well as erection, operate and maintain mechanical equipments and pumps. Our company performs these works for global specialized forms which provide their designs and engineering advices in order to be performed precisely by our staff. Our company fabricates and manufactures automatic heavy duty gates for logistics purposes and for giant locations or facilities as a response to our country direction towards establishment of many projects and petroleum locations.

Within our company as a third party acting specialized engineering test such as testes ( hardness, tensile, compression, impact, bending, torsion, analysis of metals, dislocation within the metal X-Ray, heat, vibration, speed, corrosion.

Our company took part in the first national industry fair at Baghdad International Fair, and received many appreciation documents and certificates for its good exhibition.

• Erection of fuel pumps and do centralization and balancing then operate and control for these pumps by using the newest equipment that use vibration, thermal, and speed techniques and use special equations to perform the works (BAIJI, DAURA, and ERBIL refineries) and other secondary works.

  

• Fabricate, manufacture and erect electrical/manual heavy duty gates. (Special Locations Gates and Gates can be supplied to the contractors) with our company's name.
